Industrial chiller is suitable for cooling and regulate a constant temperature control of various molding dies. The chiller is mainly used for injection molding machine, extruder, blow molding machine, or any other plastics processing machine that requires industrial cooling. To maintain optimal operation and product quality, the following key considerations should be observed.

1. High pressure: When the compressor of the chiller is working normally, the indication range of the water-cooled chiller high-pressure gauge would be 15 ±1 kgf/cm²and 18±1 kgf/cm²for air-cooled chiller. However, if the pressure is too high or too low, the abnormal pressure would affect the working efficiency of the chiller. When the refrigerant charge is normal but the ambient temperature is low, causing the pressure to drop below 12 kgf/cm², the water-cooled chiller can be adjusted by temporarily shutting off the chiller’s cooling water. This helps the condensing pressure return to its normal operating range.
2. Low Pressure: When the compressor of the chiller is working normally, the pressure indication of the low pressure gauge is in the range of 4±1 kgf/cm². The low pressure varies with the temperature of the water in the chiller tank. If the pressure is still below 2.5 kgf/cm² when the refrigerant charge is normal, you should check whether there is water in the cold water tank. When the pressure falls below 1.5 kgf/cm², the low refrigerant indicator on the control box will light up and the manufacturer should be contacted for service.
3. Chiller in use, when the temperature of cold water to reach the set temperature, the compressor will automatically stop. This is a normal phenomenon.
4. Refrigerated water temperature control in 8-12°C for the best, adjust the temperature, please note: too low a temperature will lead to the failure of some of the unit’s protective devices (or alarm).
5. The minimum temperature should be set to higher than 3°C.
