How Does the Combined System Work?

The three-in-one dehumidifying dryer is usually installed close to the molding machine. Hygroscopic materials such as PET, PC, PA, and ABS are first dried with low-dew-point air at a controlled temperature. The dried resin is then transferred through the central conveying pipeline to the processing machine.

This arrangement shortens the time that dried materials are exposed to ambient air, reducing the risk of moisture reabsorption before molding.

Key Factors in System Configuration

Before selecting a system, manufacturers should confirm:

• Resin type and drying requirements
• Hourly material consumption
• Drying temperature and residence time
• Conveying distance and pipe layout
• Number of machines using the same material
• Required level of automation

For one machine using one resin, an independent three-in-one unit is often sufficient. When several molding machines share the same resin, connecting the dryer to a central material conveying system can improve equipment utilization and simplify material management.

Pipeline design also affects performance. Excessive conveying distance, too many bends, or an incorrect pipe diameter may cause unstable feeding, resin dust, and material breakage. Shut-off valves, level sensors, filters, and shortage alarms should be included to support reliable automatic operation.
